2019 Point Life Out Now
The latest edition of Point Life magazine is about momentum and milestones as Hobsonville Point really comes into its own as a visitor destination and a place to call home.
Point Life is a publication that captures the highlights of the year at Hobsonville Point and keeps residents and wider Auckland up-to-speed with the latest news on the development, as well as promoting it as a great place to live.
One of the most significant milestones in the past year was the opening of Te Ara Manawa – Hobsonville/Onekiritea coastal walkway, attended by about 15,000 people.
Since our last issue, the number of eateries at Hobsonville Point has more than doubled and Catalina Bay is fast becoming a true Auckland food destination. This has been helped by the trial weekend ferry service, making Hobsonville Point more accessible to visitors from the city centre seven days a week.
Our population is on the rise and Hobsonville Point is starting to resemble a close-knit, vibrant township. There are close to 4,700 people living at Hobsonville Point now, not far off halfway to our eventual population of 11,000.
